VOLGAZDRAVEXPO 2008 in Kazan

The health minister of the Autonomous Republic of Tartastan Mr. Farrakhov Airat visited the booth stand of Kunststofftechnik Schnitzler at the medical technology trade fair "VOLGAZDRAVEXPO 2008" (15.-17.10.08) in Kazan. He informed himself about the range of capabilities of our company and wished us good luck with the initiation of business contacts.
This first participation of our company at an international exhibition took place with the help of the trade fair participation program of “Bavaria International” and was extremely well organized. It illustrated the great potential for our products in the countries of the Russian Federation. Already during the fair we were able to receive first concrete requests, nourishing our hopes to expand our relations with this exciting market in a country with pleasant culture and people.

New Homepage

This new online presence of Kunststofftechnik Schnitzler has been available online since 5 September 2008. By the conceptional administration of "Hering's Büro" from Kronach and supported by the photo works of "Olgemöller studios" also from Kronach this up-to-date homepage was initiated. Besides information to the challenging product and technologies of our enterprise, we do not miss out on those who determine our success relevantly: our staff. Of course, we are looking forward to your feedback about how you like our homepage and suggestions how to improve it.

15 per cent training quote

From September 2008 our two technologist trainees expect recruitment of six more technologist trainees. With Vjosa Demaj (Industriekauffrau); Jessica Korn (specialist dialogue marketing), Olga Samkowski (Verfahrensmechanikerin), Ayhan Adas (Verfahrensmechaniker), Jonas Höhn (specialist warehouse logistics) and Alexey Anikeyev (Mechatroniker) we did not only have 4 new job qualifications, but also 4 further cultural backgrounds. This young people are expecting an exciting apprenticeship under the custody of their individual mentors and the opportunity of a safe workplace right on their doorstep after they have finished their apprenticeship. As 15% as a training quote is not to be taken for granted at all, our major Herbert Schneider took the opportunity to be present at the welcoming of our trainees in a ceremony with school cones.

First defibrillator in Küps

In cooperation with the AOK (German public health insurance company) plastics technologies Schnitzler first performed a common health day. Besides various actions to visualize the responsible dealing with our most important belonging - our own health-, we also consecrated with prominent guests and neighbours our first defibrillator in the market town Küps. This potentially life saving device was acquired by our company and is available for our own staff as well as the neighbourhood.

13 new first aiders trained

In a two-day training by the First-Aid-School Meusel 13 new first aiders were trained, so from less than four employees there is one first aider. This exemplary supply quote comes along with another impressive number concerning industrial safety: More than 800 days without registrable industrial accident! This is also an indication for "safe" workplace at Schnitzler.
